I keep this bread on hand..
To warm cold October tummies,
It is so yummy!
Easy Pumpkin Bread
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teas. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teas. baking soda
1/2 teas. baking powder
1/2 teas. salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup canned pure pumpkin
1/3 cup water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray 10-inch loaf pan with baking spray.
In a medium bowl, stir together flour, spices, baking soda and powder and salt, set aside.
In a large bowl, combine vegetable oil, eggs and sugar, stir in pumpkin.
Add flour mixture from medium bowl alternating with the water in two batches.
Pour bread mixture into prepared pan.
Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the bread is firm to the touch.
Place on a cooling rack, wait until it cools somewhat.
Slice it, swather it in butter and enjoy!
